This blog explains how to resolve the “Subcomponent cannot be added to the solution because the root component Template is missing.” error while adding custom Email Templates in the solution of dataverse.
Follow the below steps to resolve this issue:
- Go to Settings –> Advanced Settings
2. Go to Templates
3. Go to Email Templates.
4. Open your email template record.
5. Change the value of Permission level to Organization and save the record.
After changing the value of permission level of the email template add your email template again in the solution you should be able to add now successfully.
